Even one mouse is one too many. Make sure there is no food residue or standing water anywhere. You can use either a poison substance or an enclosed trap. If you use a poison substance, make sure it is in a place not readily accessible to people, plus you will have to constantly check for dead rodents. An enclosed trap allows them to enter, but they can't get out. They will die and the cleanup is more sanitary. Do it now before they have a chance to breed.I found mouse droppings in my new house in a drawer. I cleaned it up 3 days ago and since then have only found
The first answer is correct. Poison is the only effective way to rid your home of unwanted rodents. If over-the-counter remedies don't solve the problem shortly, hire an exterminator. It will be worth the cost. Mice can get out of hand quickly. Look around the yard and neighborhood for any abandoned buildings, overgrown spots etc. If you have any control over them, get them cleaned up.
In a new home you can expect to have ants and rodents. You can get rid of them with ant hotels and Decon. Just be careful to put these poisons in a place where animals and children can not get to them.
De -con is the best and fastest way to get rid of them. Just put a couple of little boxes of de-con and put it where ever you are finding the droppings at. In a few days you should find them dead.
