Is there a reason why birds like to do their droppings on cars?

No kidding.. find bird dropping more on clean polished car than those dirtier ones. Is the shine making them poop more?Is there a reason why birds like to do their droppings on cars?
i think its territorial, because although at times you can find hoards of poo on the ground, almost every time there's a car nearby it will have the poo on it.... then again it is possible that we are simply neglecting to notice when there are few hits on the ground because no one really cares, but when there is a single mark on a car the first thing on our minds is ';why do those jerks always poo on cars!?';Is there a reason why birds like to do their droppings on cars?
i dont know but they do the same thing to me plus you never woundered if you were a bird you would do that? i have only to people i didnt like or as a game the closes one or biggest one thats probly what they think ..... maybe you almost hit one of them now it is there payback well just some thoughts ..
The do it on the ground, we just don't notice it. We do when it hits our cars, our shoulders, etc... They really don't aim, just if they have to go, they're going.
It's just random bombing. Birds do not in fact have a muscle (dump valve) at the end of their intestine so, there is no control there.
another thing - people like to park their cars under trees to keep the sun out. Birds like sitting in trees...you figure the rest out.
they think that those with shiny cars are full of themselves and want to take them down a peg.
they aim for moving targets so that the dropping will be taken out of their territory.
I think they like certain colored cars
