You should take your dog to a vet and tell him the situation. The rat feces and urine can make the dog sick if the rat is sick.
AND... put the food in an area where the rats cannot reach it. You can put the dogfood bag inside a closed trash can.
You also need to put out some rat traps to stop that problem. You can put your dead rats in a closed trash container outside.Does anyone know what happens to dogs if they consume rat droppings?
they turn into rats and smell real bad and think they are rats and get squashed by humans that hate rats.
it depends whats in the rat droppings it can be dangerous for them if they comsume anything poisonous such as chocolate or rat poison.
they die...:(
nothing happens just there breath will smell
