I was out yesterday and found a picture perfect textbook scrape. The odd thing that I noticed was a large pile of buck droppings smack in the middle of it. Could this be an intruder buck destroying another deers scrape or will a deer also leave droppings as a scent markers?Will a buck leave droppings in his scrape?
A buck will both urinate and defecate in his own scrape.
It's his way of saying to the other Buck's this is my territory stay away, and to the Doe's, come here I'm the king.
