My guinea pigs droppings has turned redish (not blood like) is it the food ive been giving like red pepper?

The other guinea pigs havent got this, when i let them have a run around its was only stardust that had this colour poo, should i keep him away from the others for a while or is it a case of seeing if it goes back to normal with different foods???My guinea pigs droppings has turned redish (not blood like) is it the food ive been giving like red pepper?
^^ You CAN give them peppers, including red peppers and it is very healthy! I would watch them, and feed them other foods to make sure it goes away. I wouldnt seperate them. You don't know anyone is sick and it seems OK. Just make sure that that is the only thing that appears to be wrong with her.My guinea pigs droppings has turned redish (not blood like) is it the food ive been giving like red pepper?
Why are you feeding your guinea pigs red pepper, for goodness sake.

red pepper contains capsain that chemically burns, if you don't believe me, slice open a fresh pepper and wipe the inner skin on your lips.

The digerstive tract of stardust might just be irritated. Give her her usual food( not spicy and irritating) and the redish poo might disappear.
Nothing to worry he or she should be fine. It is probably just the food.http://vetmedicine.about.com/library/wee鈥?/a>
its normal. don't worry. its what your guinea pig ate that made is droppings that color
