When Playing Golf, your ball lands in rabbit droppings or mole hills what is the rule for this ?

and also what happens if you are having to stand in these types of objectsWhen Playing Golf, your ball lands in rabbit droppings or mole hills what is the rule for this ?
Rabbit droppings are a loose imepdiment. It's basically the same as a stick or a leaf. You can move them out of the way. But if your ball moves in the process, it's a one-stroke penalty.

If they are adhering to your ball, it's not a loose impediment. You have to play it as it lies.

A mole hill, or the burrow made by a mole, is an abnormal ground condition. It's the same as ground under repair. Free drop within one club length of the nearest point of relief. When Playing Golf, your ball lands in rabbit droppings or mole hills what is the rule for this ?
This happened to me in a golf tournament. The ruling is if you ball lands in a hole or anything that an animal created such as poop or a nest, it is a free drop with no stroke penalty.
You will have an unplayable lie and you will need to get a ruling before you can proceed. Good Luck.
Maybe a drop, I think it counts as a stroke, but not sure.
Have to agree with John F.'s answer which quotes the proper rules of golf.
You have to hit it from there unless there are any such exceptions at the local course.
Those areas count as ground under repair, free drop.
not sure
free drop
