How is a hygienic way of picking up dog droppings?

i have to prove to my parents that i can pick up the dogs dropings before i can get a dogHow is a hygienic way of picking up dog droppings?
use a plastic bag which should be supplied at dog parks and put your hand inside. grab the poop and turn the bag inside out.How is a hygienic way of picking up dog droppings?
I use those plastic bags that are used at the market for groceries. I used 1 to pick up and the other to put the poop in it. They work fine and I don't have to spend money on bags. :) I mean for what...all I'm using them is to pick up POOP!!!

you get a pooper scoooper. Or a shovel and bucket and then put it in a plastic bag,tie it and throw it in the bin
buy a pooper scooper.. use it to pick up the poop and scoop it into a trash bag.





You can use a baggie, put i over your hand, pick up the poop, and turn the bag inside out over the doodie.. tie it up and toss it.








However you do it.. wash your hands with soap and water afterwards.
I hate using pooper scoopers, I find them very messy.





As gross as this may sound, I use latex hospital gloves and a plastic trash bag. Put on a glove, pick up some poop, roll the glove over your hand and the poop and toss it in the trash bad. Repeat as necessary. Walk it out to the main trashcan.

Wish all the questions were this easy. You can use a ';pooper scooper'; purchased at Walmart or local pet store. Or you can use plastic baggies. Either way, deposit it in a small bucket with a liner and a lid (kept outside of course); and empty it faithfully as often as possible. Prove that you can be a responsible owner and you will probably have that dog in no time. You should also promise to take your new dog to an obedience class so that he can be a well-behaved member of your family.





It takes a little more than faithfully picking up after your dog. If you really want to score points, do some volunteer work at your local shelter if possible. You will learn a lot about dogs and how to care for them. Research the breeds you like and be informed on their particular health concerns and personalities. Go to: www.AKC.org and learn all you can. If your parents think you are really serious about doing a good job, I'm sure they will take that into consideration. Good luck.
A good way is to put a ziploc bag on your hand, grap the poop (i know, its gross) and then turn the bag inside out and seal it up.
