my sisters female doe does her's in a set place but he does it where he sleepsIs it normal for male rabbits to do there droppings in there bed?
yes, it is normal.. and its true that what they excrete is not always poop. They need to eat that stuff again for their own health..

hi its not all waste that comes out of a rabbits bum, they excrete pellets that are only half digested and so they eat them again and then they are waste.

Rabbits $hit every were and if they going to have babys they will not $hit in the bed part of the cage.

Sounds normal to me, we have a pet rabbit at the nursery where I work and it poos all over the cage, bed, food bowl... Cute tho!

yes it is perfectly normal for them to do this.
please remember rabbits have 2 tummys thats why there always eating and are you sure its the droppings because if some of the droppings are together like grapes they eat them they have come from the 1st tummy and then re eaten to pass threw 2nd tummy. and all rabbits have there funny little ways. my suzzie pulled all her fur off making a bed for babies. even though she was a only rabbit. hope this helps take care. xx
My male rabbit does them wherever he like, but my other male rabbit is totally house trained and goes to the toilet in a box. I guess they are all naturally different. There are ways to train them into new habbits though.
Yep it's perfectly normal. They just do it wherever feels comfortable to them. Some do it all over their hutch, so you've got a good one!

We have a rabbit, had it since December 06. Oh my goodness it poops everywhere! If you watch it, nice, it poops while its eating (at the the same time etc!). They will do it anywhere and everywhere. Ours comes in the house for a run around everyday, well, you can imagine cant you!? I have to clean its hutch out every day too!! Wonderful creature!!!! We love it really. xx
