I have found that a life size plastic replica of an owl placed on roof or any area near where the birds land is very effective.How do I rid of these pigeons that perch on my downspout and electric wires and do droppings on my driveway ?
home centers like home depot sell these metal / plastic spike strips that you can apply to about any surface that will keep birds from perching. after you apply them the birds will no longer be able to sit there.





as for th powerlines not much you can do about that as tampering with high voltage wires is a very bad idea. i have yet to see any reasonable means of preventing a bird from sitting on a powerline. time spent figuring that out is better spent on finding an easy and quick way to clean your driveway when necessary. consider purchasing a pressure washer.

expose the wires in the cables and **** in the downspout.
I would set up a trap net. They are smart eventually they will move to the next door.
You're better off finding and removing the food source first. If there's enough food to support a population of pigeons, when you remove the pigeons, you'll get a population explosion of vermin.
Find out who is feeding the pigeons in your neighbourhood. Then make them stop.


Pigeons are just flying rats and go where they can find food.
Fire. And lots of it.
There are these little plastic spiky things you can buy at home centers or online. They attach to surfaces, and have plastic spikes about 6 inches long that prevent the pigeons from perching in undesirable places. Don't know about the electric wires, though. That's a toughy!
