My beagle has been eating her own droppings for about six months now?

do you think i should continue to allow her to eat her droppings or are there harmful consequences? It's nice not having to clean up the mess myself but inot at the expense of my dog's health. My beagle has been eating her own droppings for about six months now?
The dog will receive nutritional value the first time it eats a dropping, but it will only be toxins the second time and beyond.

If you want the dog to stop eating the droppings, Insert chicken bones into the droppings. Small bone fragments will get stuck in its neck and the pain association will cause it to stop eating it.My beagle has been eating her own droppings for about six months now?
No its not healthy! It can make you dog very sick, and Im sure cleaning up poopy throw up is a lot worse than picking up poop.

Why dont you try changing its food, low-quality food does not digest well, making the feces smell and taste like food to your dog. The upside is a dog poops even LESS on a hgih quality kibble.

You can also get supplements that make the poop unpalatable to them as well, but the food is the first thing you should change.

P.S. I mean a GOOD food i.e. Innova EVO, Wellness, Taste of the Wild, etc. Iams, Eukanuba, and Science Diet are crap.
First add pineapple to your dogs food, it will make his poo taste bad. Second dogs dont just eat poo. There is a reason for it. He is probably not getting enough nutrition you need to up grade his food to something high quality.

And NO Pedigree, Purina, Iams, etc are NOT high quality foods. Go to a pet store and get a food that has meat as the main ingredient. Not a grain or meat byproduct
Are you feeding anything with the following ingredients?

Corn

Soy

Wheat

menadione

by-products

colors

chemical preservatives such as ethoxyquin

euthanasia drugs

If you are, switch foods immediately. That is why your dog eats its poo.

Look into canidae all life stages, Wellness core, blue wilderness,

Innova, Evo, or a raw diet.
