How to remove mice droppings safely?

Our attic is full of moice droppings (though mice are gone now). We plan to vacuum to remove droppings. Will that be enough to avoid harmful vapors as som e of the droppings decompose?

Also we plan to add insulation on top of the (unfinished) floor of the attic-- that would cover the dropping remainders, Any problems there? How to remove mice droppings safely?
Be sure to use a Rainbow vacuum or some vacuum that doesn't send the dust from the droppings into the air. You can get very sick if you inhale them. Be sure to wear a cloth mask when vacuuming. After vacuuming, use an enzyme spray to sanitize the place. You could also make a bleach spray to sanitize.

Let all dry, then insulate. How to remove mice droppings safely?
i used to have mice. just use a vacuum no problem. the vapors they decompose aren't poisonous. but have the place toxicated (lol i don't know what that means!!)
