How do you get your dog to stop eating dog droppings?

Pet stores sell additives to put in their food. You can also stop it by immediately picking up the poo and make sure they are eating a high quality food. Most dogs will eat their poo if they aren't getting enough from their food and some do it just because. Getting rid of temptation and making sure they eat a good diet will help though. How do you get your dog to stop eating dog droppings?
Like others say, pick it up as soon as possible and also use the preparations you put on their food that acts like a repellent on the droppings. I think, too, that if a dog has worms they eat them so you might check that out, use a de-wormer supplement.
My vet suggested Meat Tenderizer sprinkled on his food will make his droppings less appetizing to him. It worked for my dog - black Lab
My puppy did that until the vet gave me something to spray on the droppings that tasted very bitter. She stopped only after a few applications. Weird but true! Ask your vet.
Simply clean them up before your dog gets a chance to return to the treat!
First make sure they are getting enough to eat, if they don't get enough they will eat anything.. including their stool, we had the same problem with our dog. if that doesnt work there are'nt many other options, your best bet is just too feed it enough and keep it away from their poop
Dogs/puppies eat poop because they didnt digest the food correctly.. Eating to fast is likely. They smell the poop and think it is food. It is disgusting. The only thing you could really do is feed the pup less but more frequently until the pup stops eating it. You will also see pups/dogs eat grass when the stomach is upset.
adolf's meat tenderizer in their food (just a sprinkle) makes their poop taste like...well...poop. It's WAY cheaper than the pet store additives, and works as well. Of course it isn't going to make them stop eating other dog's poop...
i think i've heard to spray citrus juices on it.
Simply clean them up or if they are around his/her area ,before he sees it clean it up.
