Nailpolish remover or rubbing alcohol, let it soak a litle, then if it all doesnt dissolve then you can scrape the rest off once it has softened up. The wash the floors with Murphy's Oil, and use a floor wax after that to restore shine. Good luck, hope this helps. How do I remove white paint droppings from a hardwood floor?
At this point, you need to ask the nice people at Home Depot. They'll tell you that Latex paint is water soluable, even when dry, and then you'll have to admit that you've used every chemical known to man.
They can explain to you how to remove the spots, re-stain and re-seal, if necessary; don't be afraid, it can easily be done! And, it will be a kind of adventure for you. It's NOT ruined!!
I would try a little turpentine (or paint thinner) on the paint spots...This should thin and weaken the paint. Then wipe or gently scrape the paint off.
Goof-Off Then Johnsons paste wax
maybe scrape with off or something, and buy something that can
shine the floors to look brand new. If you need more help, go to Lowe's or Home Depot .
try ';OOPS'; it removes laytex paint
if you've already knackered your floor floor from using chemicals then it might be a good idea to hire an industrial sander and take the wood back to it original finish then re-varnish.it costs a few quid and its hard work but the result is worth the effort.i did it in my house and it looks ace!
