In history, I need to know the answer to this extra credit question. When the government was deciding whether or not to drop the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, 1 out of 333 Representatives said no and the rest said yes. Who was the 1 person to say no? Who ever gets this, i will give 10 points for it! THANKS A BUNCH!!! My quiz is tomorrow!!!Who was the only person of the government to vote against the droppings of the atomic bomb?
Weird question since there was no vote on the bombing.. It was the President's decision alone.
There was one person who voted against going to war after Pearl Harbor. The women Congressman Jeannette Rankin was the only one to vote against entering WWII but that was years before the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
BTW she was also in Congress, actually she was the first women elected to Congress and from that liberal state of Montana, for the WW I vote and was the only one to vote against entering that war.Who was the only person of the government to vote against the droppings of the atomic bomb?
I don't know the details of the arrangements between G.B. and the U.S.A. but
Churchill's approval was part of the equation, and he gave it on July 4th.
They didn't put it up to a vote. Truman made the decision.
Thats a trick question there was no vote
