It is a propane grill and I removed the rat droppings from the flame area beneath the actual grill. I would like to continue using the grill but am concerned about potential food contamination when grilling. I appreciate any disinfecting advice.What is the best method for disinfecting a backyard BBQ grill that appears to have had rat droppings?
I would bleach-clean it and then burn it without food a couple of times. That should take care of it. If anyone's allergic to bleach, you can also go to your local janitorial supply for a more appropriate disinfectant.
