Turtle wax, bug and tar remover works the best
Try using baking soda and water on a sponge. The baking soda won't scratch the paint and it cleans really well...it gets bug spatters off the car also. Good Luck!
whatever you do don,t use any polishes or solvents
the best way is a bucket of warm soapy water apply liberally then sponge off.
Mild detergent and cool water as soon as possible. Try not to scrub, it leaves marks if you do.
The longer you leave the sap and crap on there, the more damage it will do, and if you park in the sun, it may bake on and be impossible to remove except by physical force (i.e. buffing it out). So get it off right away.
