How can I make gun powder out of bat droppings?

I understand that it was done so in the civil war era.How can I make gun powder out of bat droppings?
Most of these people are idiots. The guano is rich in various compounds necessary for black powder including ureic acid that gives it that extra punch. Of course I am not going to say, and there are MUCH easier ways than using guano.How can I make gun powder out of bat droppings?
Saltpeter, one of the elements used in gunpowder, can be extracted from animal droppings. Apparently bird poop was more infamous in this regard than bat poop.
I don't know the formula but it sounds plausible that it could be done. Uhm, you aren't a terroist by any chance are you?
