We followed these guidelines when we cleaned up a shed that was mouse infested. Please take the proper precautions. Our travel trailer is full of mice droppings. How do we safely clean it?I am worried about Hantivirus.?
Well, get a good shopvac and vacuum EVERYTHING! Wear good mouth/face protection and use a solution of BLEACH/WATER... It doesn't have to be strong about a cup of bleach per gallon of water should do.... Get some rubber gloves and sponges and wipe EVERYTHING down... You may also want to get a steamer to steam the furniture or have it professionally cleaned just to be on the safe side.... Open up the trailer and let it air out... Get some heavily scented dryer sheets... Some cotton balls and some peppermint/spearmint oil and leave scented cotton balls inside cupboards, closets and drawers.. Mice don't like the smell and will not stay! You can also use those cheapie air fresheners and put in dark places....

You might be able to unscrew the heating vents and vacuum them..... Give em a good wipe down and spray with LYSOL disenfectant spray.... Then put acouple dryer sheets in there.. It will NOT only make the trailer smell nice/fresh but, will keep mice OUT!

Clean the oven with some no fume oven spray and rinse it out really, really well..... When it's NOT in use.... Put some cotton balls with peppermint oil on them in there to discourage mice!

Good luck
I'd get a couple of masks, a good supply of rubber gloves first. Then sweep up what you can and scrub the areas you can reach with a disinfectant cleaner. If nothing else, use a mild bleach solution. For those areas you can't reach, get some serious disinfecting spray and give it a good dosing, leave the trailer all closed up for a few hours and then open it up and left it air out for at least a couple of days before you use it.
Vaccum all you can then go over everything with mild bleach water....Put out some EAGLE 7.........that will kill them...they just dry up instead of swelling up and bursting..
I'd wear a respirator mask and some really good gloves so you don't get completely grossed out.
