How do you clean Bee's droppings on cars w/o damageing paint?

Bee's droppings are gluey and difficult to clean with soap and waterHow do you clean Bee's droppings on cars w/o damageing paint?
I've found that cleaning the car with a quality car wash, my preference is Meguires, and a scrubber sponge on the bee remains works really well. How do you clean Bee's droppings on cars w/o damageing paint?
My friend has a 1948 ford P/U, and he uses mild buffing compound with an orbital buffer to remove the residue after a good scrubbing with ';Mothers';car wash. Mothers is a brand name, but I imagine any good quality car wash prouduct would do. After you get it clean, apply a good quality paste wax, and the stuff won't be so hard to remove the next time. Hope this helps.
';It's none of your Bee's wax';!

Couldn't resist...try Goo B Gone.
