Do they really add chicken droppings to cow's feed that are slaughtered for us to eat?

People have fed chicken litter in the past. I went to school in the North and it was never recommended to us as a good feed for cattle. Feed stuffs vary from location to location due to availability. Scientifically, it is a good source of nutrients and cattle grow well on it, if fed correctly. The nutrients are readily available and easy to digest in the rumen.

I do not believe many people feed that anymore due to public perception and the fact that, if not handled correctly, bacteria in the litter can cause illness in the cattle.

Do they really add chicken droppings to cow's feed that are slaughtered for us to eat?
Strange question!!

And, no they don't! Why on earth would you ask that question? Where did you get the idea that chicken poop was in cattle feed??Do they really add chicken droppings to cow's feed that are slaughtered for us to eat?
It probably gets in there, but I doubt that it's intentional.
