I have just found animal droppings on the wall inside my house. What animal did they come from?

I just came downstairs and seen 1 dropping quite high up on the wall and another 1 at the bottom of the stairs, then 1 more again on a wall quite high up. They are approx 5mm long. I have just found animal droppings on the wall inside my house. What animal did they come from?
sounds like you may have bats. They will leave black droppings and you may see streaks on a wall. If you have an attic you may have some bats there. I'm guessing that the droppings are from a gecko. In a place where I used to live, I was constantly cleaning gecko droppings off the wall.


I just looked for a photo of gecko droppings on the net, and, unbelievably enough, I found one. Who'd have thought someone would have spent time putting a pic. like that on the net?!

Without a photograph, we can only guess and eliminate a few species, such as elephants.
Too small to be rat droppings... I'd say mice.





How did it manage to be on the wall?
